To preserve, protect and enhance the County's scenic beauty and natural areas

To develop flexible preservation strategies to meet the needs of landowners and to maximize funding opportunities

To promote public awareness of the connection between wise land use and the continued health, prosperity and welfare of the citizens of Washington County
